Krystal Marie Ball was born November 24, 1981. She is an American political commentator. She was previously a candidate for the US Senate, as well as a TV presenter at MSNBC. She was also frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising alongside Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball announced in the month of May that they'd leave the show to begin their own venture, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is co-host of the show Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on shows like Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News), and CNN (CNBC). Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball attributes her further interest in politics due to her experience as an expectant mother in the 2008 presidential primaries, and watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She saw the effects that it had on the residents of her home country and was moved to see the international influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellowship member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She was the host of The Cycle, a MSNBC TV show that she hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. In May of 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee working on behalf of Democratic causes.
